Ski touring Clinics & La Sportiva Gear Demos with Boulder Skimo!

Clinics are capped at 10 people. Demo gear is dependent on availability.

Each Clinic / Demo is split into two parts:

• DEMO GEAR TRY-ON CLINIC (@ La Sportiva Boulder Store)

A VIP La Sportiva ski gear try-on for all signups the evening before the on-snow part. This will streamline the on-snow process, ensuring that the gear fits you well, and you know how to use it.

• ON-SNOW DEMO / CLINIC (@ Eldora Ski Resort)

On-snow at Eldora. All gear included (upon request): skis, skins, bindings, boots, poles.

Requirements:

• Able to ski down a blue groomer run

• Have a valid Eldora uphill pass before attending

• WHAT:

  Learn to ski tour, improve your skills, try new La Sportiva gear, make new friends!

• WHO:

  Open to all levels, limited to 10 people each on each date.

• WHEN:

  Select your date from the dropdown at signup. Each week the Clinic & Demo will consist of:

  • Thursday 5-6pm: Indoor Gear Try-On (@ La Sportiva Boulder)

  • Friday 6:45-9am: On-Snow Clinic & Demo (@ Eldora)

• GEAR & DEMOS:

  You’re welcome to bring your own gear or demo La Sportiva gear available at the clinics (indicate your preference at signup).

• SWAG:

  Boulder Skimo Club sticker and La Sportiva swag for all attendees!

• UPHILL ACCESS PASS & ARMBANDS:

  Please read the Eldora uphill policy here. All participants are required to hold a valid uphill Eldora pass AND have picked up their armband.

  1. Uphill pass is free for all Eldora Alpine Season Pass or Ikon Season Pass holders — you’ll still need to pick up your arm band (see bulletpoint 3 below).

  2. For all others, you’ll need to purchase a $99 uphill season pass here (click on “Get Uphill Pass”).

  3. If you have already picked up your armband, you are good to go. If not, you will need to pick it up at the Eldora ticket counters.
