Check out below scenes from the second Ski Tour Clinic & Demo of the season that happened on Wednesday, February 8 at 7am, at Eldora Ski Resort.
We had 10 attendees, ranging in abilities from complete novices to intermediate, join us wanting to try the sport for the first time, learn how to skin more efficiently, get exposed to some more advanced techniques like traversing, skin track skinning, and kick-turns, and demo some lightweight gear.
It was great to introduce to the sport endurance athletes who had heard about it and had been wanting to try it for a while now, and transmit some of my passion and knowledge.
Ski touring is an intricate sport with some layers of complexity, which makes it such a fun pursuit for those who are thirsty for knowledge and always want to better themselves.
